The 2025 ENCATC Congress will be organised from 15-17 September as a face-to-face event in Barcelona, Spain. The Congress is an action-packed programme including keynotes, panel discussions, members talks, study visits to city’s flagship institutions alongside to several networking opportunities.
To be cost effective, the Congress incudes also the following ENCATC initiatives: the Annual Research Conference, the Policy Debate, and the ENCATC Outstanding and Research Awards Ceremonies.
Committed to invigorate the development of cultural practices, policies, education and research that underscore citizenship, values, and democracy, this flagship event will provide the unique opportunity to ENCATC membership and community to formulate research-based policy recommendations to the Mondiacult Conference, which will take place in Barcelona few days after our Congress.
A pre-congress Study Tour will be organised on 13-14 September 2025 at Fira Tàrrega. Participants joining the Study Tour are encouraged to arrive in Barcelona on 12 September, as we will depart together for Tàrrega on the morning of the 13th.
