My ICCROM Fellowship was a transformative experience. It expanded my vision and connected me with like-minded professionals worldwide. I had the opportunity to spend time in Rome, the Eternal City, and work with excellent, highly dedicated ICCROM colleagues. Together, we developed new ideas and joint ventures, such as a very successful workshop on articulating the value of culture. The Fellowship developed and strengthened my network of key stakeholders in the cultural sector and made my research more impactful on policymaking. Don't miss this chance!

– Patrizia Riganti from Italy, ICCROM Fellow in 2022

VCC workshop

“The fellowship opportunity at ICCROM with the World Heritage Leadership unit was inspiring, as it allowed me to share my ongoing doctoral research with experts and engage in intriguing discussions. With ICCROM's vast network, I could easily connect with experts inside and outside the office. The library and archives are well-managed and the ICCROM staff is very friendly. I could attend courses and training relevant to my research as an observer, which was an added advantage. My fellowship was hybrid, giving me ample opportunity to interact with the professionals in person and conduct my research remotely with the connections I built during my visit. Integrating a fellow in the office atmosphere is commendable, both administratively and technically, and I am very glad I could take up this opportunity during my doctoral journey.”

– Komal Potdar from India, ICCROM fellow in 2023
