Council Bureau Meeting
On 11 and 12 April, ICCROM held its annual meeting of the Council Bureau. During these two fruitful and productive days, the Bureau, Director-General and Management Team of ICCROM discussed the activities that have taken place in the first quarter of 2022 at a programmatic, administrative and planning level.

UNESCO and ICCROM join forces with the Maidan Museum of Kyiv to support Ukraine’s museums
UNESCO, ICCROM and the Maidan Museum in Kyiv (Ukraine) have translated the manual Endangered Heritage: Emergency Evacuation of Heritage Collections (Спадщина у небезпеці – Екстрена евакуація культурних цінностей), into Ukrainian. UNESCO will support the distribution of some 2,000 printed copies across Ukraine, to areas with no or limited internet access.

Developing practice-led research in the Heritage Place Lab
Research-practice teams from eight World Heritage properties across Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America joined the pilot phase of this unique online incubator last year. Now they are preparing their practice-led research agendas, with plans to publish their insights and achievements.

Climate.Culture.Peace – Conference Report and Highlights
A post-conference report and a highlights video is now available on the Climate.Culture.Peace knowledge portal. This report summarizes the proceedings and findings of the conference and analyzes understandings growing out of the conversations held. It underscores the urgency of promoting shifts in the ways we perceive culture, heritage and climate change and take action.

Net Zero: Heritage for Climate Action | Call for Proposals Now Open (Deadline Extended)
First Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis (FAR), a flagship programme of ICCROM, is pleased to be accepting project proposals that aim to use culture-based climate solutions to reduce/mitigate greenhouse gases, enhance preparedness, help communities cope with loss and damage, and facilitate peaceful and just transitions.
