On 3 February 2025, ICCROM’s Director-General, Aruna Francesca Maria Gujral, welcomed H.E. Mrs. Lina Annab, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan, to discuss strengthening the long-standing partnership between ICCROM and Jordan. As a Member State since 1958, Jordan has worked closely with ICCROM since its inception on cultural heritage management and capacity-building initiatives.

This year, we connected with Member States, partners, and communities, turning every interaction into an opportunity for shared learning and growth. On 22 November 2024, ICCROM and ICOM renewed their longstanding partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their shared commitment to conserving, developing, and utilizing museum collections as invaluable assets for the benefit of humanity.

Today, we welcome officials from the Ministries of Culture of various African Union Member States, who are participants in the 4th African Union Commission Course, organized by the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, with support from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
