New publication presents heritage management practices in 13 countries
What started as a workshop in 2008 in Ercolano, the Bay of Naples, Italy, has come full circle 15 years later as a thought-provoking ICCROM publication. Heritage Management Practices: Voices from the Field, available for the first time in 2023, presents not only the workshop’s results but also heritage management experiences from 13 countries scattered across the world.

The Digital Story Circle – ICCROM’s first workshop on telling and preserving heritage stories in the digital realm
From 9-11 January 2023, ICCROM’s newest programme, Sustaining Digital Heritage (SDH), conducted its first workshop on digital storytelling – The Digital Story Circle: Telling and Preserving Heritage Stories in the Digital Realm. This three-day virtual workshop provided participants with tools and resources to digitally bring heritage communities’ and cultural bearers’ stories to life.

The Bibliographic Database of the Conservation Information Network (BCIN) – one of the most important tools for retrieving bibliographic information on cultural heritage conservation – is now available in French and Spanish.
