11th Ibero-American Meeting of Museums : Learning, affection and memories
The 11th Ibero-American Meeting of Museums - Bicentennial Edition is an initiative of the Ibermuseums Program and the Ministry of Culture of Peru, through the Dirección General de Museos and takes place as part of the celebrations of the Bicentenary of the Independence of Peru.
The 11th EIM presents itself as an invaluable opportunity to dialogue on crucial topics such as human rights and the culture of peace, accessibility and respect for diversity, the fight against exclusion, the impact of the climate emergency and the recognition of "museumdiversity", among others. These themes not only reflect the commitments made at the 10th Ibero-American Meeting of Museums, held in Mexico in 2022, but will also guide the way forward in this new regional event. This meeting is an essential space to strengthen relations between professionals in the region's museological sector, contributing to the integration, cohesion and affirmation of an Ibero-American museology.
The 11th EIM will be hybrid, that is, the entire program except the workshops. The entire program will take place at the Museo Nacional del Perú. And, simultaneously, the activities can be followed through live streaming on this website.
