92nd ICCROM Council in session
ICCROM Council is the governing body of ICCROM that meets once a year, to monitor the activities of the organization, and formulate long-term policies in close collaboration with the Director-General. The 92nd session of Council is in session for two days on 28-29 October 2019 at ICCROM.

On 21 October, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ICCROM and the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China at the ICCROM Offices in Rome, Italy.

ICCROM 31st General Assembly
ICCROM's 31st General Assembly will take place in Rome, on 30-31 October 2019. The General Assembly meets every two years and is attended by Member States, as well as by observers from non-Member States, intergovernmental organizations and other institutions that partner with ICCROM in the development of its programmes.

New Member State: Costa Rica
ICCROM is pleased to announce the adhesion of Costa Rica as a Member State. The accession of Costa Rica brings the number of ICCROM Member States to 137. ICCROM welcomes Costa Rica into its community of Member States and looks forward to future collaboration.
