وقائع الملتقي العربي الأول للتراث الثقافي

يقدم هذا المنشور إطلالة شاملة على الإشكاليات والقضايا والتحديات التي تتعلق بفهم دوافع الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي في المنطقة العربية مدعومة بأمثلة دراسات حالة من سياقات عربية مختلفة.

Proceedings of the First Arab Forum for Cultural Heritage

This publication provides a comprehensive overview of the problems, issues and challenges related to understanding the reasons for preserving cultural heritage in the Arab region, supported by case studies from different Arab contexts.

The proceedings of the First Arab Forum for Cultural Heritage include a number of articles covering various theses from Arab and international perspectives on basic topics, such as the essence of cultural heritage in the cultural, geographical and historical context, and how to develop mechanisms in order to preserve it in the present and the future.

These articles are a summary of most of the opinions and exchanges between thinkers, experts, academics, media professionals as well as Arab and foreign practitioners who participated in the forum’s activities within the various thematic sessions.

The final recommendations of the forum included at the end of the publication represent an integrated comprehensive vision for a better future for cultural heritage in the Arab region in the form of clear procedures applicable at regional and national levels
