Children Education Program with Art
The Bengal Foundation’s art education programme will use selected artwork from the Bengal Foundation’s collections to connect with children who might not otherwise have access to galleries and museums. Children will become familiar with works by Bangladesh’s master painters through informative virtual exhibitions and documenting children’s activities and artwork so that they learn about conservation and sustainability and promote communities’ well‐being and development. Images of the art will spark conversation with the children, encourage them to explore and learn from each other, and grow their comfort with art.
The programme also hopes to catalyze children’s artistic potential that may be underdeveloped because of their marginalized social class. This is an opportunity to create positive and lasting change for present and future generations in Southeast Asia by making concrete contributions to advance the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda.
