Call for applications for the 2nd World Heritage Site Managers' Forum
“World Heritage Site Manager: Role, Responsibility and Capacity‐Building Needs”
World Heritage Site managers from across the globe are invited to participate in this year’s Forum, aimed at continuing to empower World Heritage Site Managers on the international stage. Participants from all natural, cultural and mixed World Heritage properties may apply. Both offline and online participation are possible. This year's forum will be organized jointly with the World Heritage Leadership Programme, to address the capacity building needs of site managers worldwide.
WHSMF 2018 will cover the following themes:
- Basics of the World Heritage Convention and its operation
- Heritage and Environmental Impact Assessments
- Role and responsibility of Heritage Site Managers and their capacity building needs.
