ICCROM’s 31st General Assembly evaluation report

Based on feedback provided by delegates attending the General Assembly, from 30-31 October 2019, this evaluation is vital to assessing outcomes and identifying areas that need improvement. As ICCROM continues to improve its services to Member States, this evaluation will provide the opportunity to measure progress and ensure a high standard of quality at future General Assembly meetings.

Twelve new members have been elected to serve in the ICCROM Council during the period of 2019-2023. We extend our congratulations to all the elected members and look forward to working closely with our newly formed Council.

The unanimous decision was made by ICCROM’s Council 93rd session in Rome, in recognition of the UAE’s support and contributions to the organisation, including hosting the only regional ICCROM Centre for the Arab region in Sharjah, UAE.

ICCROM’s Programme of Activities and Budget (PAB) for the 2020-2021 biennium has been approved by the 31st General Assembly. For the next two years ICCROM will be operating in adherence to the Strategic Directions set out by ICCROM Council in 2017. There have been conscious importance placed on effective planning and setting priorities to ensure the highest efficiency and impact of its work

ICCROM’s Programme of Activities and Budget (PAB) for the 2020-2021 biennium has been approved by the 31st General Assembly. For the next two years ICCROM will be operating in adherence to the Strategic Directions set out by ICCROM Council in 2017. There have been conscious importance placed on effective planning and setting priorities to ensure the highest efficiency and impact of its work.

ICCROM Council is the governing body of ICCROM that meets once a year, to monitor the activities of the organization, and formulate long-term policies in close collaboration with the Director-General. The 92nd session of Council is in session for two days on 28-29 October 2019 at ICCROM.

ICCROM 31st General Assembly

ICCROM's 31st General Assembly will take place in Rome, on 30-31 October 2019. The General Assembly meets every two years and is attended by Member States, as well as by observers from non-Member States, intergovernmental organizations and other institutions that partner with ICCROM in the development of its programmes.
