The World Monuments Fund (WMF) invites nominations for heritage places facing urgent challenges and where preservation can bring transformative change and creative solutions. Every two years, the Watch selects 25 places that tell a local story with global relevance and works with communities to amplify preservation efforts through advocacy, capacity building, and close collaboration with WMF’s team and professionals around the world. The most competitive nominations will illuminate a place’s deep importance to the past and present while inspiring action on the most pressing issues of our time.
WMF welcomes nominations for heritage places—including collections-based institutions with a built heritage component—that offer opportunities to help communities thrive. Be part of this initiative by submitting through the online form, which is free and open to all, by 5 pm (EDT) on 15 March 2024. To learn more about the nomination process, visit the link below or contact aiwasaki@wmf.org directly.
