The first tranche of training under ICCROM’S capacity building programme in Mosul gets underway this November, when 25 young Moslawi professionals from the fields of architecture and engineering take part in a two-week orientation module.
ICCROM is kickstarting its Heritage Recovery Programme in Mosul, a two-year capacity building programme organized in collaboration with UNESCO and the University of Mosul and with the financial support of the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the European Union.

The Soft Power Club, an international association founded by former Minister of Culture of Italy, Francesco Rutelli, met in Venice for its first public event at the Giorgio Cini Foundation and the Prada Foundation from 31 August to 1 September. ICCROM had the privilege of participating both days, at a side event on 31 August on climate change as well as the round table session the next day.
