On 26 July 2021, ICCROM organized an online information meeting to mark the start of training being delivered within the framework of the Capacity Building for Holistic, Sustainable and Resilient Heritage Recovery of Mosul project, in partnership with UNESCO and with generous financial support by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the European Union (EU).
The Warsaw Recommendation on Recovery and Reconstruction of Cultural Heritage is a document from 2018 constituting a comprehensive set of principles concerning the process of urban reconstruction and rebuilding of historic buildings or complexes of buildings destroyed as a result of armed conflicts or natural disasters.

The Soft Power Club, an international association founded by former Minister of Culture of Italy, Francesco Rutelli, met in Venice for its first public event at the Giorgio Cini Foundation and the Prada Foundation from 31 August to 1 September.
