On 11 and 12 March, the World Heritage Leadership Programme held a meeting at ICCROM to discuss the content coordination of its planned integrated heritage management web platform.
This meeting focused on updating the content of the resource manuals for managing cultural heritage, natural heritage and disaster risk for heritage. Discussions pivoted on various areas of heritage values assessment, understanding the aspect of change through impact assessments, linking Climate Change adaptation factors into disaster risk management, and methodologies of evaluating the management effectiveness (Enhancing Our Heritage Toolkit).
The content will be developed further through the structured understanding of various case study sites propelled with a better understanding and profiling of the potential users of the manual content.
