The National Museum of Contemporary History in Ljubljana has hosted RE-ORG Slovenia, organized by ICOM Slovenia.
The first part of the training programme took place from 22-24 May 2019. During this first phase, 15 museum professionals from 10 Slovene museums reorganized the museum's military equipment storage unit. The full reorganization is to be implemented by the same team later this year.
Veljko Dzikic from the Central Institute for Conservation in Belgrade (Serbia) and Jana Šubic Prislan from the Goriški muzeum in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) are coaching the participants through the first three phases of the RE-ORG method.
The workshop will produce a storage reorganization proposal, with the list of all the necessary furniture, equipment and materials, needed for the implementation phase, to be organized before end 2019.
