Organized by ICCROM in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Service of the Region of Emilia-Romagna, a RE-ORG professional training course will begin online for the first time in Italy on 26 April.
The sessions provide for the training of participants in the first three phases of the RE-ORG Method: from the analysis of the storerooms’ problems to the planning of the reorganization project. The lessons have been especially developed for online teaching, with the adaptation of all of the exercises to web-based learning. The course will involve 20 professionals, who will be accompanied in drawing up the participant’s own storeroom reorganization project by June 2021. The lessons as well as the support for the participants will be carried out by ICCROM consultants.
The persons involved represent 10 Emilia-Romagna museums, in which an accurate inspection of the storage rooms was carried out last week (13-16 of April 2021).
The museums selected to take part in the course are: Fondazione Culture di Santarcangelo di (Culture Foundation of Santarcangelo di Romagna), MamBo e Museo Morandi in Bologna, Istituzione Villa Smeraldi - Museo della Civiltà Contadina (Museum of Peasant Culture) in Bentivoglio, Musei Civici (Civic Museums) in Cento, Musei Civici (Civic Museums) in Forlì, Museo Casa Pascoli (Pascoli House Museum) in San Mauro Pascoli, Museo Civico (Civic Museum) in Modena, Museo Diocesano (Diocesan Museum) in Fidenza, Raccolta Lercaro (Lercaro Collection) in Bologna, Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio (Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscapes) of Ravenna.
