EMERGING SKILLS FOR HERITAGE CONSERVATION
Cultural Accessibility: Principles and Methodologies for Cultural Heritage

What exactly is cultural accessibility? How can professionals make heritage and cultural sites more accessible while educating people about the importance of preservation? Can we really overcome barriers, bridge distances and address inequalities that limit access and participation in cultural heritage? We will answer these and many other questions at the Young Professionals Forum 2024!

In alignment with the UN Convention and the EU Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the CCR invites young heritage professionals to reflect on cultural accessibility and inclusive heritage conservation education. The Young Professionals Forum - Cultural Accessibility: Principles and Methodologies for Cultural Heritage will take place on 27 September 2024, both in-person and online. By fostering a shared space for dialogue, the initiative intends to enhance the skills of all those involved.
