Blended Intensive Programme, Heritage and Landscape Futures, Gothenburg 7-11 October 2024

The course “Heritage and Landscape Futures” is organised by the International Research School, Heriland, and will be hosted by Prof. Ola Wetterberg and Dr. Susanne Fredholm in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The course is run as a Blended Intensive Programme, including a 5-day programme in Gothenburg, Sweden (7-11 October 2024) and online collaborative activities (three webinars between 3 October and 23 October 2024). The total participant effort is 3ec, equivalent to 84 hours.

The course is based on the materials developed by Heriland, a network of 8 European universities and 20 societal partners during the past 5 years, with the support of Marie Curie ITN funding and Erasmus+ funding provided by the European Commission.

We expect to welcome Master’s and PhD students, as well as early- and mid-career professionals from anywhere in the world. In previous iterations of the programme, in 2022 and 2023, the combination of students and professionals formed a diverse and highly effective cohort.

It will be an exciting opportunity for the participants to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills in a friendly and highly interdisciplinary setting.

We do not charge a tuition fee, but are unable to offer financial support for travel or accommodation costs. We encourage participants to seek local funding opportunities to cover those personal costs.

Registration is via a registration form on our website. The deadline for registering is on 5th July 2024. Please note that admission is granted on a first come, first serve basis, so it is essential that prospective participants register in a timely manner.
