El 25 de octubre, el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y Cooperación Internacional de Italia, también conocido como Farnesina, celebró una conferencia sobre la cooperación entre Italia y África. Esta fue la segunda de una serie de conferencias sobre este mismo tema organizadas por la Farnesina, la primera de las cuales se celebró en 2016.
El 10 de octubre de 2018, el Director General del ICCROM, Webber Ndoro, y Gaël de Guichen firmaron un acuerdo para la donación del archivo del Sr. de Guichen al ICCROM. El objetivo es garantizar tanto la conservación como el acceso a los investigadores de estos valiosos documentos.

On 25 October 2017, the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea (CHA) and the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) signed a Framework Arrangement in Daejeon, Republic of Korea. This marks the second phase of the collaboration embarked upon in 2012.
On 5 August, the Director-General of ICCROM, Dr Stefano De Caro, had the honour to attend the inauguration ceremony of Hassan Rouhani for his second term as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. De Caro’s attendance came at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, through its Embassy in Rome.
