As part of the Preventive Conservation team, the role of Preventive Conservator (Environment) manages and maintains the extensive environmental monitoring system across the V&A family of sites. They are also responsible for providing advice, guidance and recommendations in line with conservation best practice and V&A policy on the collection environment to various stakeholders across the museum.
The post holder will be highly organised, have a high level of numeracy and have experience working across complex organisations. They will have experience of working with collections' environmental monitoring systems and other preventive scientific equipment such as microfadeometer, thermal imaging cameras and spectral light meters.
