The Director of Policy and Research will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Electric South's thought leadership, research, and policy initiatives in the immersive media space. This position requires someone passionate about media, technology, and culture, with a deep understanding of the African context. 

The candidate will be responsible for commissioning and managing research, designing and implementing convenings, and spearheading the organisation’s thought leadership on policy issues related to immersive media. Additionally, they will develop policies that respond to the needs of storytellers and creatives, while fostering collaboration between different stakeholders in the sector.
