These days, conservation education programmes are under pressure to deliver more content in less time, making effective communication and teaching skills a "must." ICCROM's Summer School, more recently hosted by partner institutions, explores innovative and practical ways of learning and teaching core concepts of conservation and heritage science by examining challenges encountered by both participants and course teachers. The Summer School also discusses new approaches and tools for designing educational programmes and training activities. This intensive training consists of interactive sessions and a stimulating environment. Participants come out of it with fresh ideas and new approaches inspired by teachers and fellow participants from around the world.
