Since the creation of our Internship and Fellows Programme in 2002, more than 200 people have benefited from the experience of undertaking a period of personal development with ICCROM. During the third quarter of 2023, in addition to those fellows and volunteers who continued their work, we welcomed five new interns.

On 27 June 2023, ICCROM Director-General Webber Ndoro had the honour of receiving H.E. Mr. Felipe Silva de Pina Za, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Angola and H.E. Ms. Maria de Fátima Domingas M. Jardim, Ambassador of Angola to Italy, accompanied by a delegation.
On 22 June 2023, the Director-General of ICCROM, Webber Ndoro, had the honour of receiving Alessandro De Pedys, Director General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
On 15 and 16 June, we welcomed Director General Kim Yeonsoo of the Republic of Korea’s National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage (NRICH) and a delegation of NRICH conservation scientists to ICCROM headquarters. The visit's purpose was to discuss areas to strengthen collaboration between ICCROM and NRICH and sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
On 5 June 2023, ICCROM welcomed Dr Peter Fornaro and Dr Vera Chiquet, experts in the fields of Digital Humanities and Digital Cultural Heritage from the University of Basel. During their visit, they were introduced to ICCROM's new initiative, Sustaining Digital Heritage, presented by Aparna Tandon, Senior Programme Leader of First Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis and...
On 6 June 2023, we received a group of experts from different backgrounds at ICCROM headquarters to talk about a potential partnership initiative for the protection of cultural property in times of crisis.
